I didn't like the treatment I received. There was discrimination on the part of the nurses.
Horrible experience at this scary facility. The nurses and techs do not care whatsoever. The doctors see you for 1 minute. If you do not wish to try a new medication you are basically kicked out and discharged. People with different diagnoses are all together in one unit. The food was horrible. The facility is old and outdated. Avoid AT ALL COSTS.
Absolute horrible experience, pick ANY OTHER FACILITY!!! My ER sent me to this hospital for mental health treatment after becoming extremely ill and unable to eat or hold down water. When I arrived to this facility, the nurse forced me to try and eat snacks so I could take my meds. I immediately threw them up and got an attitude from the nurse. I overdosed on psychiatric medications on the 9th and was observed at penn state hospital for 24 hours medically before I was admitted into this hospital. At first I had a rough start . I have borderline personality disorder which I tend to perceive situations that may not be happening if someone is using a tone , or I think they are racing there tone at me .
