My husband was choking on food stuck in his throat. Could breath but salivating into a container. We came over from Napier as it was after 7pm. We had to pay $64 before we were seen. Dr said he couldn’t help and would give us a letter for ED at hospital. As we hurried out we were called back. Sorry not covered by ACC so we need another $66. 😳 Went to ED handed in letter then waited for over 3 hours with hubby choking into a bucket What did we pay for Hastings Medical Centre??? Very disappointing service and money grabbing.
