This is the worst insurance co I have ever dealt with. No customer service, when you do get someone they are rude and unprofessional. Beware do not use this company. Thankfully i didn't need to file a claim. We used hartford because it was recommended by AARP I guess you can't trust AARP either. Brad Wingrove
Quite possibly the worst insurance company in existence. They will do everything in their power, including committing fraud, to deny or terminate your claim(s). They not only manipulated information, but they falsified medical documents, which is illegal, on my existing claim. They then portrayed to my PCP that I was working and traveling the county in a camper with my boyfriend. Useless and unhelpful
This company is completely unprofessional in the handling of their claims. If you have the opportunity to avoid them please do, but if don’t be prepared to file a claim with The Department of Insurance and the BBB. You can provide them with ever shred of documentation that they request and they will still deny your request for disability in spite of doctors documentation stating that you are.
This company is horrible horrible I've provided everything that they asked for and document form and I still got denied for short time disability. They make the process extremely hard to get approved. I've never been through a processed this bad in my life. It's like they tried to find every possible way to not approve you for certain things. The worse part is that my job works with this company and I really wish they stop doing business with them.
