Our 3 month old parked truck was hit in the grocery store parking lot by someone insured by The Hartford. I had to mediate discussions between the body shop and insurance to get parts covered. The Hartford was quick to place fault on the body shop, but they rarely returned call or emails. The accident happened on 1/31/26. Today is 3/5/26. it's been almost 2 weeks and you STILL refuse to communicate with our water damage company to get the repairs started! In the meantime, you've forced us to live without plumbing for an entire week, with asbestos exposure and with sewage water stinking up the rooms. ME AND MY KIDS HAVE LIVED exposed to sewage water damage AND asbestos exposure and you still DO NOTHING. Horrible Agency customer service We called to ask a general question about if 18 wheelers are accepted refused to help me and all Representatives were b lack and rude.
I had an absolutely abysmal experience dealing with this agency. I didn’t seek their business, I had the misfortune of having to deal with these folks because an insured commercial driver of theirs hit and ran my parked car. This led to well over a year of headaches. I now have a car that’s no longer street legal to drive due to a busted headlight, as a result of this incident.
