The Hartford cancelled my auto insurance without notice, just send my check back. Supposedly the received my payment after the new policy went into effect. Mailed payment 2/26/25, was cashed on March 17th, 2025. New policy should have started at 3/10/25. I can't believe it took 2 1/2 weeks for the check to get there. I even went to the post office myself. Well, they lost my business. AARP should know about it and I will inform them. PS: been with them at least 25 years
Do not use The Hartford for anything! Save yourself the time. The Most terrible and unfair business practices i have ever encountered. A complete and total failure of a company. No empathy No ethics
The Hartford Insurance Company has proven to be one of the most overpriced and disappointing organizations I’ve ever encountered. Following a minor accident where I caused minimal damage to a small Honda SUV, with a repair cost of around $2,500—they proceeded to exploit me with outrageous pricing. I felt as though I was being systematically overcharged month after month. Once the claim was processed for the Honda owner, they had the nerve to raise my rates to an unreasonable level.
