Fantastic place for kids to learn about bugs and reptiles. We even got to hold a tarantula and snake.
We definitely got more than we bargained for. Went in for a little visit and tour and also got some interaction with some of the stars of the show. We could tell all of the critters are well cared for and loved.
The museum isn’t that large (it’s in a strip mall), but the place is full of interesting specimens, mostly the insect or bug type. They have some snakes, turtles, and lizards as well. The highlight, though, is the staff helping people (mostly kids) safely hold or handle some of the live animals.
There are some really special creatures here! I hope the place finds the funds for a good deep clean soon… it really needs it.
