Just the best place!
The best bar in Amherst and the food is fantastic. Staff are great and very friendly.
Food is always good, especially their beef stew! They have gluten free friers so this is a regular choice for my friend, who has celiac, and I. The atmosphere is what you would expect for an Irish pub, a little dark, cozy and familiar.
The Harp is my go to casual dinner spot in the area. Their sandwiches and salads are better than you'd expect. The atmosphere inside is also nicer and more cozy than the unassuming outside. They have a great patio, a spacious yet neighbors meeting neighbors bar vibe, and plenty of tables. Its not over run with college students, its a good mix of people. Most of all the staff and service is always excellent.
