We booked an appointment through their online booking system. We arrived for our appointment and the shop was closed. Apparently (according to Google anyways) the shop is closed on Mondays but their online system still allowed a booking for Monday.
I hate to do this, as my first experience was ok (after Jeff cancelled an hour before my appointment via the app and Thomas made time to reschedule the following day), but twice? Had an appointment with Thomas and got there earlier. Waited 25 mins until asked if he was going to show, the other two really had no idea and didn't seem to be troubled by that fact. Sad as the haircut and beard trim were good.
I booked an appointment with Tom, the owner of Hare and Hound Barber, on June 27th, 2025 for October 10th, 2025 at 10 a.m. — the morning of my wedding. Tom cancelled on me 2 hours before the haircut. This is my 2nd shot at the shop, the 1st attempt a year or two ago he also cancelled on me last minute.
Booked my father in for a shave. He was in town for my wedding and due to mobility issues is unable to shave anymore. Tom was a no show. Who just no shows and leaves their coworkers in that awkward position?! Apparently Tom does and from other reviews this seems to be a common tread. Wish I could leave 0 stars!
