Given the price we paid, we were disappointed. There is nothing wrong with the property per se, but it is quite pedestrian compared to some other option in Charlettown. The breakfast was disappointing both in quality and quantity. You can do better elsewhere for less cost.

Lovely old hotel within easy walking distance of downtown. Rooms are small but comfortable but not very sound proof. Breakfast is included but disappointing. Staff not very friendly or helpful.

No way around how much we disagree with the overall rating of The Harbour House. It’s dingy, in need of serious updating, uncomfortably noisy and with inconsistent hospitality. The shower showed signs of the previous visitor and was otherwise not exactly gleaming. The noise from upstairs and next door at night was bothersome, be it footsteps or hair dryer use at 11/00 p.m. or, I kid you not, snoring. A request for additional towels was met with a “we usually only exchange” towels and “what do you need them for” until finally... read more

Spent 5 nights at the Harbour House and could not fault it. Great location with spacious, well equipped, room. Laundry facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.
