Handle Bar is a great place to work out. Great people, great availability and locations and much more friendly and accessible than the competition.
One of the receptionist here is super rude, some others are better. If you arrive 3 minutes late she won’t let you in and stonewalls you citing their policy, which allows for 5 minutes late entry. Worst part is she offers no explanation and then immediately got off her shift and left. If it’s not their job to take care of customer experience, I don’t know why they have so many people on staff. Great classes & community- love my local HB peeps!
Jesse is a phenomenal instructor. While her classes are inevitably challenging, she deserves an abundance of credit for her enthusiasm, crafty choreography and curating, and genuine desire to establish a welcoming and inclusive space regardless of skill. She does an excellent job breaking things down and encouraging individuals to give themselves grace and compassion as to mitigate feeling pressure from the room. It is admittedly intense, but joyful - and moreover, well worth the money.
