Such a beautiful and easy experience. My mom and I were very impressed by the shop and the traditional hanboks present. Both the owner and her assistant were very sweet and made picking my custom and my son’s custom hanboks easy. It was truly a learning experience as well. My mother is Korean but my father is European American- I have not had a hanbok since I was a child. GET YOUR HANBOK HERE!!!!! I had an incredible experience with them. I knew I wanted to wear a hanbok for my wedding but didn’t know of any local places in Detroit/Michigan. I’m originally from Northern VA where we do have a couple hanbok shops, however my mom heard about this place from a friend and I literally made 2 trips out to this store from Michigan, but it was super worth it. I cannot recommend The Hanbok enough! I went through Jasmine and The Hanbok team for my mom and mother-in-law's hanboks for my wedding. The hanboks were absolutely stunning, and both moms received so many compliments from family, friends, and other guests on the wedding day. Jasmine and her team are so knowledgeable and talented - they helped customize the hanboks, so that it was perfect for each person. Over the years, our family have used the hanbok for weddings, 1st birthdays, and family photos. Jasmine and her team has exceeded expectations every single time. We feel lucky to have a vendor who is so passionate to curate every event to perfection. Hanbok is the easiest way to hold on to korean traditions. Our kids look forward to events where they get to wear new hanboks.
