If you’re a person of color (black etc) my advice would be to not move here. I moved here and approximately 2 weeks prior to moving in I faced racism as I’ve never seen before. The staff and management didn’t or couldn’t do anything about the name calling and hate that was happening. I finally moved and after looking back on my experience with the lack of support from management I realize that I made the right decision. Over the past year in memory care, the care is excellent! The staff all call him by a nickname (“Doc”), are cheerful, and greet him so warmly whenever he returns from an outing (eg. “Hey Doc! I missed you!) and then proceed to inquire about his outing. He has improved since moving in and I give a lot of that credit to the Activities Director (Sarah is amazing with such a heart for our seniors) and Assistant Director. Highly recommend!

We are so grateful for the loving care and support our mother receives at The Hamptons of Tyler senior living facility. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and treats the residents like family. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by kindness every day. The facility is welcoming, clean, and provides a warm community atmosphere that has been such a blessing to our family.

Beautiful facility. Nice amenities and friendly caring staff. Food is consistently good. Lots of activities available for fun.
