My mother moved in earlier this month. She was very reluctant to leave her home of 50 years. I’m amazed at the short amount of time it has taken for her to feel at home. She loves the food and and has really started participating in all the activities. The staff is so friendly and make sure that mom feels welcome and loved. She told me that she’s happier than she’s been since my dad passed away. The Hamilton has made the transition smooth and less scary than it could have been.

The Hamilton is an exceptional option when browsing Senior Living Communities in Yorktown VA. They have 2 sister locations and are affiliated with rehabs/long-term-care facilities, which offers you or your loved one the ability to "age in place" without having to relocate when care needs elevate. The Hamilton is clean, bright, has spacious suites/apartments, and many common areas for Residents to socialize.

The staff at The Hamilton are very friendly. They always make ne feel warm and welcome. They engage with the residents and know all of the residents by name. They have a beautiful living room with big screen TV and an amazing activity room. If you're looking for senior living for yourself or for a loved one, you should take a look here.

If you want plenty of opportunities to socialize and see the sights, Kirstie is an incredible asset to the Hamilton! This community is close knit and always has something going on in a clean and bright environment. I always enjoy my time here!

My brother (age 67) was failing in health after years of alcohol abuse. When discharged from a rehab facility he was labeled "failure to thrive". He's been at Hamilton for 4 weeks and he is a new person. He's eating again (loves the food selection) and taking his meds on a schedule. He's told me the staff is so friendly and helpful. His studio is clean, modern and well appointed. The director and staff were so responsive to me when coordinating his transfer to the Hamilton. I just can't say enough good things!
