Enjoyed dinner here tonight. Food and service was exceptional. The tasting menu was exquisite and wouldn't change a thing. We had difficulty deciding on dessert but both the sticky toffee pudding and the parsnip cake where equally great. Would definitely be back, it is a wonderful addition to Haliburton County.
Hidden Gem. Our favourite place for dinner in the area. The food and service are amazing. Highly recommend for dinner. We have never stayed here but main lodge is pretty and clean. You will not be disappointed!
Haven't yet stayed at The Post House but had an amazing experience at the restaurant. It was a snowy day and they called to make sure we were still coming. Yes, if you'll still have us, we said. Oh certainly come ahead. It's just that we've had a few cancellations so we wanted to check. We braved the snow and were the only customers. We enjoyed a divine three course dinner from the appetizers to dessert. It was one of the best meals set in a beautiful dining room. Every bite was mouth watering delicious and the service was attentive. Highly recommend.
Fabulous food beautifully presented. We have had numerous dinners there and enjoyed them all. Last night we had New Years eve dinner with them and it was the best meal I have ever eaten. Justine is amazing pairing wine with the food and now I just let her choose my wine. I would highly recommend dinner there for a special occasion or no occasion at all.
