Love all the Nayas at Desert Willow.
I would like to talk about a day trip we just took."Pop Into June Mural Tour & Lunch" with Community Life Director Brit. Brit put this trip together and we had a great time. Brit was an awesome tour guide and with her background knowledge of Art and the local artists, she made it even more interesting. We had fun touring all around the older parts of Tucson, looking at wall paintings outside of buildings. Then we went off to a great lunch at La indita Mexican restaurant. I want to thank Brit for a great time.

I have a friend living at Hacienda on the River. Such a lovely place and restaurant. From the Concierge Susan to the dining room manager Peter, everyone is very friendly and efficient. The food is delicious. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. overall, a lovely warm frendly place for senior living.
Thanks to Marisa Mallo for a lovely and very informative tour. The Hacienda is not a cookie cutter retirement home—the layout is unusual and the outdoor spaces are plenty and varied. The independent living apartments are larger than most we’ve seen and the one we looked at had a fireplace! The staff seem very caring and many have been there a long time, which is a good sign. Their equine program is one-of-a-kind! I urge you to look at their webpage if you’re shopping for independent/assisted living or memory care.
