Tried out Grove Grill for the first time today and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, particularly the curry goat patty and the grove sauce! Staff was pleasant and welcoming and let us try the sorrel which tasted great. Highly recommend!
This is my third time ordering food from this place. Don’t get me wrong. The food is amazing but yesterday my food tasted like burnt oxtails that was at the bottom of the pot and my baked macaroni and cheese was cold. I paid $38 for this dish because I wanted macaroni and cheese instead of rice which I think is crazy too that you have to pay an additional six dollars if you want the macaroni and cheese instead $38 is way too much money to spend on a meal that I was dissatisfied with not to mention the small portion size smh…... read more
cute little place. terrible value for the food. me and my girl ended up paying 43$ for 2 platters jerk chicken and shrimp. the jerk chicken was filled up but the shrimp was not filled up at all. If you’re paying $20 for a platter it has to be filled to the bring no exceptions and in the plate it was only only 14 pieces of little shrimps😭. you can get platters somewhere else for half the price and better quality food and they’ll fill you up. We also got the strawberry slushie $5, chicken empanadas $4, water bottle Both combi... read more
I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. Unfortunately, the meal was very disappointing and lacked flavor overall. The cabbage tasted like it was simply cut up and boiled with little to no seasoning, and the plantains were undercooked. The oxtails seemed like they had some effort put into them, but they still weren’t flavorful enough for me. Overall, the food just didn’t hit the mark, and this isn’t a place I would try again.
