I’ve been here for 14 months and have had absolutely no issues, but as soon as Alyssa left it seems like everything has gone to crap. Contessa has no customer service skills and should not work with the public that’s for certain!!! when my lease renewed it was for $891, what I agreed to because I was moving and they asked me to stay bc I’m a GREAT RENTER!!! Just recently moved out of my apartment at The Grove. I very much enjoyed my time there. It was a well kept, quiet community! Maintenance team was always great and reliable , and office staff was quick to respond to questions/concerns.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this apartment complex, especially regarding how my move-out was handled. My roommate and I chose to move out early, and we made sure to follow every requirement outlined in our lease. We paid the early termination fee, along with all listed move-out charges—including touch-up fees and a $140 carpet cleaning fee. I lived here for a year and moved to Arizona. I wish I never left and am hoping to return in the autumn.
I have lived here a little over two years since moving to Sherman from Houston. I have been so impressed by our manager and assistant manager, Alysa and Reagan. They value the residents and work hard to make sure we know. The maintenance team is excellent, too. If they run into any issues that are not easily fixed, they stick with it until they figure it out and they always ask to make sure they’ve done everything I need them to.
