Established in 1992. In 1992, we recognized the strong demand that existed for a professional service to clean, repair and restore tile and grout floors and showers. The work, at that time, was being done primarily by handymen and amateurs. There needed to be a professional who could analyze the condition of grout and tile and then determine which service, repair and products were needed to professionally restore them to their original condition. They literally canceled the job day of and wouldn’t take our calls. They lied through the planning processed I was patient until the end when they just didn’t show up. I took the day off to get this done and rescheduled my daughters eye dr appointment. I don’t leave bad reviews, but sincerely disappointed with the lack of professionalism every step of the way. It takes a lot to make me upset, but boy did they do a fabulous job of that. Huge let down and waste of time and money invested
Technician who gave us the quote was very enthusiastic and promised to address all our concerns. Technician who came to do the work appeared to be untrained and attempted to redo his inadequate work several times. It was only a few weeks later that the sealant just fell out of the tile. So, I called to get it redone, quoting their warranty. That was over a month ago. No return phone calls. And, now the phone number is disconnected. So, I emailed. We had all of our bathrooms, porch tile, laundry room and kitchen backsplash cleaned amd sealed. Shay, Jamie and Derek did a fantadtic job. We are very pleased and highly recommend The Groutsmith!
