This has been my "Cheers" since moving to Bryn Mawr a couple years ago. The staff are amazing, welcoming and always make sure the vibes are great. From Phils games to Eagles to space shuttle launches lol there is often a regular a stool away to share special times. With a crowd that is sometimes full of celebrating Bros, it's great to have a space to still feel homey & safe, due to the kindness of the lovely staff. Food is awesome as well-come hungry! Shepard's Pie & French Onion especially are 👌👌👌
The shepherd’s pie is absolutely amazing. I swear, it’s probably one of the best ones I’ve had (and it’s my favorite food)
OWNER I HOPE YOU READ THIS: This is a great bar, my local bar. However, they have, and without exaggeration, the worst bartender of all time. She is included in the pictures. It is really sad what a miserable life she lives, especially at such a happy and fun bar, really ruins a special place for me. If I was management, I would have her long gone. Please owner, if you are reading this, take this with utmost severity.
I’ve been coming to the grog for the past 2 years every Wednesday for trivia. Came today and had an awful awful experience with the bouncer. We’ve been extremely loyal and the bouncer scammed my friend for her REAL ID. He needs to be fired ASAP. The Grog is amazing. I have nothing bad to say about the establishment. But that bouncer is a cancer to the restaurant. Should be fired immediately.
