I filed a suit against him. When I met with him I gave him a file with The paperwork. I only needed to learn The correct amount of months for The petition. The second time he lost the paperwork. The third time I ask if we could meet at the library because I scanned the paperwork so If he lost it again I could just email him. He failes to bring the paperwork. Eric is a saint! Unlike the many horrible lawyers I dealt with before him, he actually took personal interest in me and my case and didn't drop me as a client just because my case was a difficult one (due to the other party being ruthless and having deep pockets). Eric only asked for money on an infrequent basis and always charged a very reasonable amount considering all the work he did for me. When I called in to speak with someone the person who answered was very rude, and they didn’t even give their name. Every time I would speak he would talk over me. He also refused to speak up so that I could actually hear what he was saying.
I hired Mr. Grinnell in April 2017. As I was completely new to this family court/law experience, at that time I truly believed I had made an amazing choice when hiring him. He was knowledgeable and supportive. He went to court with me once and has literally done NOTHING since. Not one thing. We searched all over for the right attorney one that easily overcome objections and whom was sharp and insightful! Eric knows the law and he's not afraid to use it!
