The food is delicious, don’t get me wrong. But people have raved about this place and we waited a couple hours for a table and I just don’t think it was all that. There weren’t a whole lot of menu options either. But overall the food was really good and the service was good. I just think it was overhyped to me and unfortunately didn’t live up to the hype. But I did like that the chef put a lot of thought and intention into each meal.
As per the usual, the experience was awesome. Our server was incredible, the food was seasoned to perfection. My only complaint, get more orange wine :) they were out during our dining experience. You will not be disappointed at all. Pro- tip, try the shrimp as your appetizer. You're welcome.
I was really looking forward to finally experiencing The Grey. Went to The Grey for my anniversary and was really excited based on how hard it was supposed to be get reservations. We received a nice note when we arrived about it being our anniversary. We tried the spiced pecans, fish and chicken dishes. The food was good but I expected more for the price. The service was very good but not excellent.
