We held an event for about 50 people at the green house. The food was catered so my food rating is based on their variety of beers, drinks and coffees which were all excellent. The service was excellent too and the event went very smoothly. The green house was perfect for an event of this size; plenty a room for people to mill about and mingle and plenty of seating. An the decorations are eclectic and yet engaging.

Beautifully "green" (in more ways than one) The Green House is a curated cocktail bar unlike anything else not just in Iowa City but in the entire state. Using local herbs and botanicals (including a plant wall from locally-owned and operated Beno's Flowers), the drinks I've had handily rival ones you'll find in much larger cities. About $15 a drink. A little spendy, but they don't skimp on the liquor. Felt a little out of place there as a 30 something--this is geared towards college age.
