This place is so awesome!!! I’ve never seen anything like it before!
This was an unexpected stop for me and so glad I was able to see it. What an incredible place. There’s a nice little self guided tour for $9. You can’t go inside the homes but you get a very good idea of the features and the videos show you how beautiful and amazing the homes are inside.
One of the coolest places I stayed while in New Mexico or anywhere in the world for that matter. Although the holes are off the grid and completely self sustaining, the place where we stayed did not lack for luxury. Wonderful experience!

I’ve ridden my motorcycle past this for 30 years on trips from Texas to New Mexico , even read about what it’s all about . After all that time my wife convinced me to tour it , at $18 for the two of us & what amounts to about a 100 foot long tour & short video it was anti-climactic . The minimalist life style & philosophy that was espoused seemed less genuine with the high price for what the tour entailed
