Great place for camp and kids love it.
This YMCA is absolutely abysmal. Not only are the weekend hours terrible (close at 7), but the holiday hours are even worse (close at 12). Beyond that, half the parking lot has been closed for the past three months and now signs have been put up on 10-15 spaces on the side that’s open, closing even more spaces as well. This has made going absolutely miserable as the parking lot is completely full at almost every time of day. Great place to belong for a safe ,fun clean environment for the entire family.
I’ve gone here two years and it is just increasingly getting worse. They closed a gigantic part of the parking lot to replace the asphalt, yet did this right after their fee raises. The gym is constantly packed and with those closures it’s nearly unusable. The fact they’re not compensating memberships due to this is quite ridiculous. Plates are never reracked but that might be the entitled attitude of Severna Park, because having a government job and making $200,000 a year makes you feel special (shocker everyone makes that ... read more
