Given appointment with "nurse who can do respitory" after waiting for 4 days for an appointment. Given second short course of antibiotics as I had a chest infestion despite telling her I've had chest infections before. Turns out I had a collapsed lung with 2.5 litres of pus filling the cavity and could have died with sepsis.
Used to be good. Now new online system sends you to pharmacy or hospital. Past 8am building empty. No patients just ladies who will send you away. Enjoy your coffee, easy life and easy money, lovely ladies!!
Most of my visits have been with the nurses, who are always so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The doctors I’ve seen recently have also been wonderful, helpful and supportive throughout. Overall, the entire team is consistently professional and dedicated, and in all the years I’ve been registered here, I’ve only ever encountered one minor issue.
Not very helpful, always a different doctor and keep you waiting longer than your appointment is for. God knows why is called The Great Western surgery, when there’s nothing great about it!!! If the staff were working for Sainsbury’s, they would probably get the sack or a warning for being rude to the public!!! Update, just went there after from going into the town centre, just asking them for my doctor to phone me, as I have had done this once before. But no she wouldn’t let me. I suffer with ulcerative colitis and at the moment I am having a flair up, I called in to the surgery this morning at 8 o'clock spoke to the receptionist who was really helpful and managed to get an appointment with the doctor who was also excellent but I don't know her name. Thank you so much for all your help
