We wanted to love Great Wall, especially since it’s a small, local place, and the staff was very friendly, but we just couldn’t. My husband really liked the Hunan Beef; the egg rolls and crab rangoon were good as well. Unfortunately, the Orange Chicken was overcooked to the point that I finally just swallowed it after chewing on it for well over a minute; stringy saddle leather is the best way to describe it. Best place hands down for Chinese food how ever you want it you got it
Not sure what happened tonight but the only think that tasted as it usually does here was the sweet and sour my children ate as for my orange chicken and my significant others shrimp and broccoli was absolutely awful, flavorless and soupy
I've been coming here since I was little and, let me tell you, every time it is 15/10. I've tried so many dishes and can't find a bad one. They have the BEST fried rice and I feel like no other place makes it the way they do. Their egg drop soup is also the best I've found and has cabbage in it too! I'm sadly moving to Lincoln soon after being in Omaha my whole life and I will greatly miss this place. It has brought me much comfort and memories. Will have to make special trips just for this.
