A comfortable old hotel. Staff was excellent and happy hour was a welcome end to the day.
We were happy with our stay. The staff was friendly and our room was clean and serviced every day. The coffee is very good. There are two reasons for the 4 stars in service. Dirty glasses were consistently left in the room when it was refreshed. The woman who checked us in was unfriendly, abrupt and rude. That being said, we never saw her again and everyone else was very nice and helpful.
Fresh baked cookies everyday from 3 to 10 pm, a free beer or wine from 5 to 6 pm and a with a location second to none, what else could you ask for! Directly across the street from one of the most beautiful, massive churches I've ever seen! This place has unbelievable character and this hotel and it's surroundings just wreaks of history and stories! Really a neat stay and area!
