As a New Yorker I can attest that the bagels here are legit. Quite a nice place. Prices are fair. My own order was modest but a neighboring table's breakfast creation was definitely sumptuous. I'll be sure to visit again next time I'm in town.
This bagel shop is a great place to get fresh bagels that are pretty dang close to NYC quality. The bagels, cream cheese, and bagel sandwiches are all great. The coffee is good. The atmosphere is nothing amazing, but that is what I expect from a good bagel place. I want to get my bagel and get on with my day, and it is perfect for that.
Ordered an onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese to go and got a cinnamon raisin bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Who the hell would order that combination???
