I can't say enough!! Wow. I went to the restaurant at Grant's House (Historic Reserve) just the other day and I was blown away. I only went there for lunch and I only had a garden burger with side salad but omg what a garden burger. They make their own patties there and the flavor and texture was amazing. As I am writing this I am trying to figure out when I can get back there for another one! The salad was made up of fresh greens (no iceberg) and I ordered it with the poppy seed vinaigrette. YUM!
Comfortable Lunch/Dinner Establishment A wonderful restaurant. I've only been there for lunch, but the menu had a wide variety for selection. The seating is intimate the landscaping nice with a squirrel every now and then. The service was fabulous. The parking isn't real convenient.
Can't beat the location We love eating at The Restaurant at Historic Reserve for special occasions. You feel like you are going back in time. It's fun to get a small room all to ourselves. The food is good and the service is great. It's also a good place to take company and then tour old Ft. Vancouver. It really is a piece of American History and it's kind of nice that it's a restaurant instead of a museum.
Vancouver's Hidden Gem – We love this place. Discovered it about 3 years ago when my husband & I were strolling along officer's row and every time since we've always had a good experience. Great food served by very friendly & attentive people. It's right next to Fort Vancouver and the building is absolutely charming. The first time we came they let us stroll around to check out the rest of the house which is beautiful. The charming atmosphere coupled with good food is perfect for a date night out. Best steak we've ever had h... read more

Pricey, but well worth it! – We ordered our starters: crab cakes with Cajun aioli & red (I can't write the b***d word here for some reason) orange compote, and ye old standby- Calamari with spicy marinara. The cakes were lightly breaded, seasoned with herbs and pan fried, and the aioli/compote was a great pairing. You got crunch, giving way to soft and flaky crab/herbs, and a nice smoked-spiced tangy sauce cutting in. If you like a variety of flavors in your mouth at once, you'll go holy aioli for this. The calamari were als... read more
Prom Perfect – For Grant highschools prom, my friends and I ventured over the river to The Grant House. We were seated in the seclusive/intimate porch room, while we shared fantastic food, and nervous conversation. The service was personal, and the experience was unforgetable.
