The Good Table is rebooted to be pizza and salads. Strong Neapolitan style. Perfectly cooked by my standards. Welcome back! Indoor and outdoor seating. Oddly placed croissants and pain au chocolat but they presented so well at the counter I got one of each.
The new Good Table is sad, objectively but especially if you remember the old version. This is essentially a takeout restaurant with chairs... the food at the table is not served out but rather delivered as if you were having takeout - salads in plastic containers (like they were prepackaged, and they do not taste fresh either) and the pizza in the box. I really don’t understand what’s happening with this place. Very limited pizza menu with salads that we guessed came pre-packaged and like they hadn’t even sprung for the Ken’s dressing. The pizza had potential - good crust but poor quality ingredients, tasted like canned mushrooms were used. The atmosphere just doesn’t know what it wants to be. The Good Table is a shell of its former self. It’s basically takeout pizza with tables to eat at, with only three choices of pizza: pepperoni, mushroom or cheese. Our pizza was delivered to our table in takeout boxes. Premade salads came in plastic containers. We fetched our flimsy plates and plastic cutlery from a water station. The food was average. Skip it go to Otto's for take out pizza and a better salad. Mediocre pizza and salad. Not the Good Table if you knew the Good Table of past. So sad.
