I had a fantastic experience working with The Good Mod team on an upholstery job. They made custom cushions for my couch and I absolutely love the way everything turned out. The team sent several check-ins before proceeding from one step to the next, was very accommodating and responsive to feedback throughout the process, and just overall was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.

Tried to visit during this store working hours. After plan out weekend and paid to Uber to get here, but seeing this sign of ‘close early today’. No announce on their web or Instagram post or story. Definitely not as respectful for potential customers. Now we waisted back and forth Uber trip close to $30 and our time.

Amazing space in the heart of downtown Portland, with many vintage modern pieces, most are faithfully restored. The ride up to the warehouse in an old elevator is an experience in itself.

A big thank you to The Good Mod for the fabulous job they did in creating replacement cushions for my tulip chairs. They understood all our concerns and they were diligent in producing a product that was perfect. I give them a 10/10 and highly recommend for your upholstery projects! And a shout out to Deak- he was a an absolute pleasure to work with, very professional, and understanding of exactly what we were looking for.

We recently had The Good Mod refinish a JO Carlson Vetlanda dinning table and chairs, along with a Ekstrom sideboard that we inherited from my wife's grandparents. These were originally made in the mid 60s. The chairs needed the cording rewoven and refinished and the sideboard and table topper refinished and refelted. Brian and his team did an amazing job and were very communicative the whole way through. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and expert craftsmanship! I would highly recommend them for your mid... read more
