We were lucky enough to get a late night private tour of the Goldfield High School. What a treat. The place is so rich with history and has a palpable eerie vibe. Even for paranormal skeptics, there is definitely something tangible to experience at this place. Highly recommend to anyone passing through, Goldfield is a great place to stay (check out the Goldfield Stop and Stop Inn and ask for Jeri or Steve)

Only got to see the outside as we were driving back to Beatty. It is worth the pit stop. Hopefully in the future I get to see the inside of the building.
We took our son for his Fourteen birthday and the tour was excellent. For sure feel the history of this place! It's a beautiful structure and am so glad someone is taking the time to restore it. We are excited to come back again.
Goldfield Nevada is best known for its rich gold mining history. At one time Goldfield used to be well over 20,000 souls calling it home. Today there is still some old buildings to see from Goldfield historic past. One of them is the old Goldfield Highschool. The school is currently undergoing restoration.
