06/18/2024 This was my first visit and experience in a wig shoppe. The owner, Nicia has been a family friend since we were little girls. She is a third generation hair expert following in the footsteps of her mother Sandra and grandmother Miss Lucy. She took 30 minutes out of her day to educate me on all aspects of why women have a need for wigs, where and how they are designed and weaved and the dynamics of how they are fitted on the ladies who seek her out for help. I just bought a beautiful wig on clearance at Nishas store. What a lovely woman and beautiful, clean salon! I am losing my hair due to chemo and just needed something quick and affordable. WIG PRICES ARE SKY HIGH THESE DAYS! But hers are affordable! She had one on sale and it's perfect. She was so nice and sweet and professional. I love her already!
The Golden Rose is a sanctuary for women dealing with the insurmountable experience of losing their hair due to chemotherapy, or other factor which so blatantly steals a huge part of a womans identity. I went here for my mom and we both had a great experience and I wasn't even the one getting a wig. They were so helpful and friendly, we had a great time and found the perfect one for my mom! Thank you for making my mom feel beautiful again!
Sandra took amazing care with my 95 year old mom to get her a wig that suited her perfectly. Thoughtful and caring shop owner! Highly recommend!
