Posting this anonymously because I saw the way some people reacted to other girls asking questions and giving feedback in the studio. I really fell in love with pole dancing here but eventually just got so beaten down and defeated by the format of classes and the schedule that I had to quit. Some things I wished I could have shared in person: - No crash mats. The studio owns some but won't bring them out "because then you'd hurt yourself when we took the crash mats away". Gotta tell you I love The Goddess Movement! They are solely responsible for turning my curiosity for dance and movement into a strong passion. And as a member of the LGBTQ+, I have always felt welcomed and safe around the instructors and fellow dancers. This place holds a special place in my heart and I'd recommend it to anyone interested.
