I want to start off by recognizing that Goddard Chamblee has some amazing people on staff. I want to thank those people for doing their best to give my child a good experience. After ~2 years, I would say that I have been satisfied with my experience about 50% of the time enrolled and I am exploring new options for my children. Reasoning follows: 1. I would not recommend this daycare. Each morning, when our child arrives, the teachers do not greet him or show much enthusiasm, which is disappointing. There seems to be a lack of empathy, communication with parents, and engagement in the classroom. When we addressed our concerns with the owner, we were told it was simply "a small problem that could easily be fixed." We requested to switch our child to a two- or three-day weekday schedule until we observed some positive changes in the staff, but our request was denied. This... read more
The teachers and staff at Goddard Chamblee are wonderful. I know our daughter loved coming to school everyday because they were so caring. We only left the school due to a recent move, and we were very sad to say goodbye.
