I was probably the last guests of the season. I visited on the final day of my trip and chose the “Learn to Mush” tour. Even though I was the only customer, Kaycee guided me kindly and showed terrific leadership. The dogs were well cared for, remarkably polite, and amazing. They sensed I was a beginner and adjusted to me—so smart and lovable. Knowing they truly enjoy their work made me happy, and I gained a memory I’ll never forget.
We had a great ride. The kids took the "learn to mush" tour and the adults enjoyed a ride with the guides. There is a lot of opportunity to interact with the dogs which was super fun. Definitely approach with caution if you are not comfortable with dogs. There are lots of them at the facility and they are happy and loud about it.
My husband, friend, and I took the two hour long learn to mush tour and it was the highlight of our trip to Alaska! Kaycee and crew did an amazing job giving giving us the confidence and skills to sled with a team of amazingly taken care of dogs. The scenery was beautiful (loved the birch forest) and we got to hang out with the dogs afterward which was such a treat. We loved every minute of it!
My husband and went on the dog sledding tour with Kaycee our musher and had a fantastic experience! I really recommend her company! She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot! The way she treats her dogs it's like they are her children!
Awesome experience. Very laid back environment. Family that runs it was great. Provided a cool experience. Got to play with puppies and dogs and go mushing.
