I recently had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy at the Glen Endoscopy Centre, and I was very impressed by the excellent service provided by all the staff. After I arrived at the centre, I received a warm welcome from the receptionist, Ms Leung, who organised all the pre-procedure checks efficiently. Stephanie, one of the nurses, carried out a very thorough assessment of my health condition before the procedure. I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic today after my endoscopy procedure. Firstly, the recovery conditions were extremely inadequate. I was still only semi-conscious when I was required to get off the bed and move to a chair. There was no proper recovery bed provided. Instead, I had to sit on a chair with my legs placed on a small stool, which felt unsafe and very uncomfortable given my condition at the time.
