Charming hotel with old style accents.
Wasn’t terrible I guess. You have to parallel park on the road to unload your stuff and then drive around back to go in yourself. Which was just inconvenient for my wife and I who have 2 year old twins. One elevator wasn’t working but they didn’t turn it off or put a sign or anything so we ended up standing on it with our luggage and toddlers trying to get it to go with no luck. Small boutique Hotel in downtown Lexington. I did notice in the room. You could hear noise in the hallway so not as quiet as some other establishments. Cozy comfortable rooms. They do not have a refrigerator or microwave in the rooms but a small coffee pot. They offered a grab and go breakfast on the second floor, which is also The hotel’s restaurant. Would definitely stay again.
This is a historic hotel right in the middle of downtown Lexington, very urban chic on the inside. The original elevators from 1926 (restored so they are no longer hand krunk) chandelier in the elevator... Beautiful. The room was small but who needs a huge hotel room? The shower was very boujee compared to the room but a cool showpiece. Beds were comfortable but the room was a bit warm. A/C didn't keep the room ice cold like I'm used to. Bathroom has a pocket door (we didn't think it had a door at first glance) great service... read more
