I absolutely loved everything about this place. It was such a terrific experience. I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Walla Walla.
Growing up I lived two blocks from what used to be The Green Gables. My best friends lived nextdoor so I have seen this beautiful establishment for many years. Fast forward 30ish years I was able to get the opportunity to stay here as I came home from the Bay Area to visit. All I have to say is, I’m speechless. My wife, Lily, and I finally vacationed in Walla Walla to enjoy the amazing regional wines for her birthday week. We smartly chose to stay at the GG! Karrie, the owner, innkeeper extraordinaire, chef, driver, travel agent, and woman known about town, must have spent no fewer than 40 hours planning and taking care of us. She booked us in the LV suite with fine linens, pillows, towels, robes, and bath products surrounded by tasteful antiques and a balcony looking over some of her gardens. Oh, the GG was great! What a beautiful old house with ... so many modern touches! There's a full speak-easy in the basement, a real classic dining room, and a mix-of-all-things living room. And a huge porch with beautiful couch and table setups with beautiful greenery all around. We stayed in the Green Room - really great. The hosts, Karrie and her husband, are just about the nicest people you can meet, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The location is also great, not far from Walla Walla downtown.
