Great location with affordable rent, meet Tony he's nice guy
I am very disappointed with how my move-out was handled. While I was moving out and carrying my belongings downstairs, I left my room door open and left my keys inside to avoid carrying them back and forth but forgot to leave hallway door open too. A building staff member was downstairs fixing something near the entrance, so I asked if he could help me open the door. Instead of handling the situation with any common sense, he immediately called it a “lockout” and later I was charged $50, which I find completely unreasonable.... read more
Fine for a tight budget I guess. Small rooms, ours didn't have a proper closet, wifi doesn't reach any room (you have to use it inside an "office" open just a few hours per day and it really sucks, i had to use my phone every time), also you have very little room to storage food (per room you are allowed to use one reusable bag in the fridge and anotherone in the kitchen, at least not enough for two people) and it was hot in summer. Don't recommend this place to anyone. The floors make sound when you step on them. The internet is only available on the reception area from 8 am to about 4pm. The staff can be quite rude. And there are cockroaches and bed bugs too swarming about.
I've been living here for the past six months, and having stayed in many other hostels in Sydney, I can confidently say this is the best place I've ever stayed. Tony, the owner, ensures that everything is provided, making the overall experience very convenient for everyone. He is friendly and fair, always making sure everyone is treated well.
