I'm not sure how to describe this place beyond perfect. From the waterside bar ( thanks, Charlie! ) to the room with a balcony overlooking the water, to the most comfortable room of our 17-day road trip. If you can work a stay into a trip, do yourself a favor and make it happen.
Amazing hotel with amazing personnel! This was our first time staying here, and we're already planning our next visit! The restaurant has wonderful food and drinks, and the outdoor bar is a great feature (say hi to Brock while you're there...he makes a fantastic espresso martini!). Coffee, muffins and fruit are available each morning in the lobby, along with fruit infused ice water. The hotel and rooms are top notch. The employees were friendly and helpful. The outside bar space was really nice and the bartenders were very friendly. The Independent restaurant staff, service and food quality were top notch. Our stay was only two days but we’ll be back. There are so many options of things to do and places to eat in Georgetown we really want to make it one of the places we want to continue to visit.
The absolute best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The management, hospitality and overall beauty of the hotel was exquisite. Also, The Independent restaurant was beyond amazing! I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone visiting the area! I wish I could rate above 5 stars!
