I would avoid this place at all cost. The one redeeming quality about this apartment complex is the new maintenance team is typically on top of repairs. Even then I have went several months without ac while living here, there was a hole in my back door the entire team that was practically disregarded, the bathtub was broken for the entire 2 years I lived here and the paint since move in was done poorly. Was told high-speed internet, but the WIFI is absolutely horrible. It gets worse and worse. I can’t even do homework here and would have to go to the library on campus. Please provide better internet services for this property.
I would give zero stars if I could. When we moved in, the unit was filthy—trash and food from the previous tenants everywhere, carpets uncleaned, and it reeked of smoke. We asked the entire year for the carpets to be cleaned (since they weren’t done before move-in) and it never happened, yet we were still charged a cleaning fee. My shower didn’t even have a shower head when I moved in. Maintenance told me to buy my own and said I could take it with me when I left, but I was still charged for a “missing” shower head. This is just about the maintenance dudes. Outstanding, phenomenal, amazing. Anytime we’ve had a problem they’ve takin care of it promptly and efficiently. But besides just doing their job they go out of their way to help the residents. Just today Kevin helped me plug a whole in my tire. Both of these guys need a raise!
In preparing for new carpet I am having to move out of the room. There is one item in my room that the furniture / carpet replacers will not move as it is my own item. While the staff do not have carpet sliders for easy moving, Kevin was able to come move a bookshelf made of real wood into another room. Kevin and Mike are awesome, and they get the job done as fast as they can given they are the only two guys on site! I've been here since 2017, and I can't complain about the maintenance crew yet.
