Rode here on my bike from Lake Geneva great little place to go they are super friendly and will fill your water bottles.
It's very cool to have a local place that brings charm and honest goods like The General Store does. In full disclosure, my wife and I have only had the shakes/malts they serve up, but we want to explore more of what they offer like sandwiches (breakfast especially) and their coffees. We highly recommend checking it out.

Stop in and see for yourself! Today! I was so happy to see The General Store up and running again like it was when I went to school at Greenwood Elementary. Very convenient but even better than that they're truly offering unique, local, exciting products and it's a real treat having them in Greenwood/McHenry County.
