Absolute garbage company. Whatever you do, don't get hit by one of their "insured"! If you do, might as well go straight to an attorney because The General will give you the run around for months...they do not care
I was very dissatisfied with how this company handled my claim. I really expected more. They expected me to get underneath my car and take pictures of something I ran over driving over a bridge on a country road with no street lights. I never missed or was late on my payments. This was my Ist incident. I am 70 years old. They expected me to have $1000 up front before they would touch my car. No adjuster came to help, you’re expected to do it yourself. Would love to leave ZERO BUT I can’t!! Recently I was rear ended, and because I DoorDash for a living the general insurance claims they don’t cover business vehicles, so my rate has now doubled. Absolute TRASH I will be canceling my policy next month, WHAT A JOKE

This company is a sham of an insurance for automotive. Their insured hit and run my family and I in 2019. They told me to take it to a "preferred" body shop in our hometown and now we are having warranty issues on the workmanship and they are denying that the said shop was a preferred shop even though they are closed now for good.
