Disgraceful
Their policyholder, Khadijah Wilson, rear ended me at a high speed after she came into my lane. They decided she wasn’t liable because she lied in her initial call and then wouldn’t answer the phone for 6+ weeks. I was personally injured, sustained permanent back and neck pain and tinnitus, missed work and lost income as a result, and have now been without a car for nearly two months… they left me hanging for over a month and a half. 0 STARTS if they had that option! Had a guy covered by The General illegally pass me on the right hand side, on a single lane, dead end back road. He hit my car when he came back into the roadway (he used a driveway end to pass in).... AND THEN FLED.!! The cops found him and he admitted to passing me on the right BUT THE GENERAL PLAYS THE AVOIDANCE GAME AND IS CLAIMING THAT THEY ARE QUESTIONING LIABILITY NOW AND WONT EVEN CALL ME OR MY ATTORNEY BACK!! Absolutely terrible company. Not mine but the guy who hit me was at fault and this is his company.
Funny when I reverse search this phone number not even google says this is THE GENERAL insurance. I saw some other numbers and they are related to scams. I will not trust this organization because they are not even trying to be known as the official THE GENERAL insurance. I will now go with another company.
