This was my second time here. Staying at the Shawnee inn. The food was amazing. Fried pickles. So good and light and crispy. Beer Mac and cheese was a hit! Catfish was delicious. The best were the wings!!! Best wings I’ve had. With apricot sauce amazing. I’m upset I didn’t order more to go! Ohhh the drinks are spot on. We had champagne mixed drink for 2. Haven’t been here in many years but don’t think I’ll be coming back. I’ve been coming to Shawnee through Wyndham since 2013. Was hoping the Gem & Keystone might have changed but obviously not. The French Onion soup is very heavy on the garlic. Also ordered a Steak salad. Didn’t think you could mess that up. Except for when you don’t cut the steak all the way through and only provide a butter knife.
