NO! Pfft. – I don't think so. This gelato tasted almost fake. I'm very picky about my gelato(I don't eat ice cream any more) and this is definitely at the bottom of the list for recommended gelato places. I will NOT spend as much money as I did on that kind of "gelato" ever again. I got the basic Chocolate thinking they couldn't go wrong and it tasted like ice cream. That's not what I went there for. very disappointing! – After the giro del gelato (biking around italia eating gelato at every stop) this summer, I was hoping this place would be comparable. Yes it's better than ice cream, but it's definitely not worth the price. For $4, I received two small scoops (and they were very careful not to let the gelato exceed the size of the scoop itself) In Italia, except in overpriced tourist areas like firenze, the same would have been ~ 1.5-2 euro. Special and Yummy! It's the Best! – This gelato explodes with flavor! I never knew how much better gelato was than Ice Cream - then I found Gelato Spot. It is soooo good. The flavors are delightful. I shouldn't even compare it to ice cream shops - really, it is in a league all its own.
Fun N' Tasty – My husband and I were amazed at how much Gelato Spot had to offer! Our servers were so helpful and did a fantastic job guding us through our first G-Spot experience. The Amarena gelato and the Mint Chocolate Chip are do die for!
Thatsa tasty ice cream – Skip dessert wherever you have dinner and go out for some gelato instead. I promise that you will love the wide selection of flavors. Don't expect to find a seat on a busy night, but definitely anticipate a far better take on frozen, creamy dessert than you will find at any Coldstone, Marble Slab, or any other place with a similar purpose.
