Go to this restaurant!!!! The cod was out of this world! Food all around was fantastic, environment was very nice, servers were attentive and kind. I highly recommend.
Okish very pricey food. Poor service. Went in on a weekend, was relatively empty, a handful of tables. Service: Hostess was lovely and polite and we were sat quickly. Waitress took forever to come get our drink orders, and then food orders. Our water glasses remained empty until we asked multiple times. Nice atmosphere & great waiter. The cucumber salad was ok (why spears?). Duck was way too acidic & unbalanced flavor wise. Dessert however was fantastic. Thai tea breadpudding was AMAZING. I would go back just for the desserts, but ask for recommendations for other menu items.
Good, but not great. There are many options in Solvang/Los Olivos/Santa Ynez for high-end cuisine. If you only have 1-2 days to spend in town, you may want to consider going somewhere else. Most of the food was good, but we ordered a salmon dish that was undercooked, and a noodle dish that was over-salted. Absolutely worth the find (even though it’s obvious on the main street)! From the spacious entry path with outdoor seating and a view of the iconic windmill, to the beautiful and intentional interior, the service matched every quality. The appetizer I had was geared towards wine drinkers (which was amazing)! and the main entree was worth the wait. Every dollar spent on the food and drinks were absolutely worth it.
