The gates at Valdosta, inside wise, is a descent place to live at. But the community is horrible. Cars have been getting broken into, from my knowledge, since around August. And they just now got cameras. My own car was broken into, TODAY, and they didn’t want to watch the films they’d rather the cops do it. The plumbing is bad, hair clogs the drains so quick and it smells so bad once it gets clogged. I’m. They need to be gated. Lots of randoms just roaming . Especially people who don’t live here. Just lingering around.
Management is poor on follow-up. I was given the amount for carpet cleaning fee, but was also charged a cleaning fee which was never communicated to me. I was due a refund after moving out. It was promised to me within 30 days, but it took several follow-up calls for me to receive it within 45 days.
I am excited about the new management and upcoming changes! The Gates At Valdosta is a great place and it will only be getting better!
I love The Gates at Valdosta. When I lived here my time was easy. Everyone in the office is so helpful. When and if there was anything wrong with my apartment, maintenance was there to fix the problem. The alarm system works well if you want to use it. My neighbors were amazing. Only thing I didn’t like was that we were college students and a older man lived there and he was calling the police a lot and that was annoying. Move to The Gates at Valdosta. You’ll enjoy it!
It is a great apartment complex. For my first time living in an apartment it is great even though I live in an unfirnished one. My roommate was already living here so I got lucky. It’s very close to campus. I’ll ride my bike or even walk to class it’s only a seven minute walk.
