Sunday carvery friendly service tasty meal!
Our experience was not to good yesterday the 12th October. We could have hit it on a bad day .my birthday lunch was cold there was was food been dropped on the floor and gravy dripping of plates. Unfortunately we were sat in front of the carvery station. I wish l had said something but it was my birthday. Just so bad .l have been on a normal day and it as been good. Sorry to say won't be going back .

Gate Inn is a pleasant place to stay. The location is convenient, close to the main attractions. The rooms are clean and cosy, there is everything you need. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Breakfast is tasty, with a wide choice of dishes. In the restaurant you can try local specialities. Prices are moderate. From the minuses - sometimes it can be noisy because of the proximity to the road. Overall, I recommend Gate Inn for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Excellent value for money.
Wow Wow Wow What a hidden gem 🍾🍾🍾 Fabulous extensive menu which I am happily trying everything and have not been disappointed Food, and service are top class nothing is too much trouble and very reasonably priced Quirky, friending country pub You won’t be disappointed 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Try the sweet chilli chicken and the enormous home made triple cooked chips can’t be beaten
